SUMMARY:Friends of the St. Clair River Stewardship Steering Committee Meetings
DESCRIPTION:4th Wednesday every month\, 7pm – 9pm \nFriends of the St. Clair River Stewardship Steering Committee meets the 4th Wednesday every month through the fall and winter\, locations vary. We welcome anyone at any time to drop into a meeting\, participate in a meeting by sharing your ideas\, or please ask about joining with other like-minded environmentalists passionate about making the Blue Water Area cleaner and greener! A Steward denotes a person who makes a contribution (time\, knowledge\, skills\, funds) to benefit the St. Clair River ecosystem or to build relationships between the river and the community. Teaching children about the natural world is stewardship\, and so is picking up trash\, developing your knowledge of native and invasive plants\, and stream monitoring. We hope you’ll find being a Steward a rewarding part of your life! Request (stewardship@scriver.org) a volunteer information packet.
