The Thumb Coast’s rivers, parks, and trails need all the help they can get to remain the favorite places we know and love. If you’re interested in making a difference in your community, then the Friends of the St. Clair River is the place for you!

Friends of the St. Clair River works year-round to restore, protect, and enhance the St. Clair River Watershed, but we cannot do that without your help.

We hope you’ll join us in one (or more!) of the following ways:

You’re Invited - Attend one of our events like Sturgeon Festival, River Bash, or the Native Plant & Rain Barrel Sale.

Support Conservation – Attend a program to help plant milkweeds, test water quality, or paint storm drains.

Volunteer With Us – Join us to remove invasive plants, count butterflies, care for lake sturgeon, harvest native seeds, and create pollinator gardens.

Get Involved – Join Stream Team, our volunteer stream monitoring program, or our Native Plant Network.

Promote Recreation – Explore the outdoors by going on a guided kayak, bike, or hiking adventure.

Educate & Advocate – Healthy watersheds can happen from updating your landscape, requesting a presentation, speaking up in your community, and sharing your passion with others.

Give A Gift – Your gift provides more education, more conservation, and more impact.

Become A Friend – Become a member and join our community of people who stand for blue rivers, green spaces, clean air, for all, forever.
